Every team is guaranteed at least three games — nobody goes home after one loss
First you play everyone in your pool — short games to 11, win by 2. Then your pool record seeds you (that just means ranks you, so the bracket stays fair) into a single-elimination bracket. Lose once in the bracket and you're out.

We're a student-run HOSA chapter — future nurses, EMTs, therapists and doctors. Entry fees cover competition registration and travel, training materials, and the community health projects we run locally all year. This is the first tournament we've ever put on: help us fill all 32 slots and make it a tradition.

A first-year tournament built for players of every level
Nine courts, one bracket, and a field capped at 32 teams so the day actually runs on time. Competitive players get a real seeded bracket; first-timers get guaranteed games, clear rules and someone to ask. Our officer team runs check-in, scoring and the schedule, with our chapter advisor on site all day.
Two Stages, One Day
Stage 1 · Pool Play
Round robin inside your pool. One short game against each team, to 11, win by 2.
Stage 2 · Bracket
Pool results seed the single-elimination bracket. Lose once and you're out.

Roughly one week before the tournament, or earlier if the field fills first.

Private neighborhood facility with 9 courts. Exact address goes out to registered teams.

Rules & FAQ
Everything a first-time tournament player asks us, answered.
What's the format again?
What if it rains?
Before the event: if the forecast makes play unsafe we decide by 7:00 PM the night before and postpone to the published rain date rather than cancel.
During the event: play pauses up to 60 minutes. If we can't resume, results stand as played — completed pool results decide placings, an unfinished bracket is settled by seed.
Refunds: full refund if the event is cancelled outright, credit toward the rain date if it's postponed, no refund once bracket play has begun.
How you'll hear: email through Eventbrite to every registered player, plus our chapter's social accounts, by 7:00 AM the morning of.

A capped field is the whole point.
Thirty-two teams across nine courts means short waits between matches, a bracket that finishes the same afternoon, and shade, water and a scoring table you can actually find. Bring family — there's room to watch.
